Artist's Comments

Contact sheet if a street photography session. I always like viewing street photography contacts, you can really see how a person is thinking and reacting to what they see.

Taken in and around St Mary's area of Southampton, UK.

some great photos in there, I particularly like the street signs ones, would make a great poster

I'm always looking for models (male/female, any age), if you'd like to help out in anyway, let me know. Bear in mind I work from Southampton/London and the South East. [link]

I'll do you a poster-sized one for the bargain price of £20.

Now there is next to no traffic on the river, which is largely silted up. At best one might see a sailing boat or two moored in the lower reaches amidst an assortment of rotting barges. To landward, there is nothing but grey water, mudflats and emptiness.

Not today though, today's gonna be lovely!

I agree...theres just something about contact prints fresh from the darkroom.

There is. And particularly with street photography: it's like a map of the photographer's exploration, seeing how they move and think and react. This has got me all nostalgic now, I don't do a lot of street photography these days!

Thanks for the comment. :)
